Craft Patience #5 In which I have thoughts of spring

On my mind:
❋ I live in west central MI, not northern.
❋ I’m committing to knitting and spinning from the stash so I can start to save for my loom and accessories.
❋ We’re becoming beekeepers because we like bees, we would like them to help our garden and someday they might may us some extra honey. Until then, I want a fancy bee themed shawl pattern.

In my journal:

I wonder:
❋ Do you have any sayings or idioms that you use frequently?
❋ Do you have craft related sayings or quotes you’d like to share?

Do use make a habit of using or collecting idioms?

I wonder:

  • Do you have tasks or changes you want to make but can’t? What’s stopping you?
  • Whether related to my theme for 2011 or completely different, have you set any challenges for yourself for 2011? What are they?

Welcome!

Craft Patience is a podcast about infusing my life with a little bit of patience through crafts while rediscovering my creativity.

Regular segments will include on the crafting front, on the shelf or newly bookmarked, through my earbuds, in my journal and on my mind. The specific crafts I enjoy at this point in my life are primarily knitting and spinning, though other fiber related crafts will make guest appearances. On the shelf or newly bookmarked segment chronicles books and websites that I enjoy, whether fiber related, craft related, or just intriguing. Through my earbuds gives you a sneak peek at a podcast or two that I enjoy. I have written in journals since I was a child and in my journal will have a thought or two that I’ve written in since I last recorded. I promise I won’t be sharing anything that is jarring enough that it should be said to a therapist and not you. Since I’m 100% certain that I’ll have a non-sequiter or two, I’ve reserved on my mind for random thoughts about what I do when I’m not crafting. I will also have a segment for listener feedback or “from the mailbag” as well as “I wonder” in which I invite you to interact with me on a specific topic.

I can be contacted at by email podcast (at) craftpatience.com. I’m on Ravelry as raederle. You can find podcast episodes, shownotes and this contact information at craftpatience.com.
